Elevate Life Church’s Easter Carnival 2019

The following outreach report was sent to us from Elevate Life Church after they threw a free Easter event for the South Sacramento Community.

We estimate approximately 1,300+ people attended our outreach this year; our highest attendance so far! Our event consisted of 14 game booths for kids ages 0-12, two bounce houses, a trackless train, and a 10,000 easter egg hunt for three different age groups. Additionally, we partnered with multiple vendors and non-profits at our outreach, to help promote any resources available to the families of our community. The non-profits that partnered with us were: UC Davis Trauma Prevention and Outreach, Omni Youth Groups (Youth Drug & Alcohol Prevention), Sac Self Help Housing, Sacramento Public Library, as well as K-Love.

We also had the privilege share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through a word given by our Pastor Sergio Limon as well as our Prayer booth where we had the opportunity to minister to people individually based on their needs and prayer requests.

One of our success stories was from Dona that approached our prayer booth and requested prayer because of this shooting pain she was feeling on her leg. Our team of intercessors prayed over her leg and Dona testified that she was no longer in pain!

Another success story we received was from Lorina. One of our intercessors received a specific word of knowledge from God about her life, and she was completely blown away by the accuracy of the word she received. Our team was then able to minister to her about Jesus.

Several families that received prayer at our Easter outreach and prayed the sinner’s prayer, visited our church on Easter Sunday as well as today (4/28/19). We know they had an encounter with Jesus at our outreach and we are excited to continue to see their relationship with Jesus to grow.

We are beyond grateful to God for the outcome of our Easter outreach and we appreciate the support of CVN that believes in supporting the local church as we work together to further the kingdom of God.
