About

A letter from our director:

Welcome to Church Volunteer Network and thank you for taking the time to get to know us. Church Volunteer Network is a local Sacramento based nonprofit that helps churches reach out into their community, sharing God’s love with the poor and hurting in practical ways. Right now this looks like ministering to the homeless, low income children and their families, migrant children, senior adults in care homes, and hungry people in the community. Our vision is that every Church in the Sacramento region reaches outside their walls.

If your Church is new to outreach, we would like to help your congregation get plugged in to one of our existing outreaches. We believe that when Christians serve and share, Christians grow. Our goal is to provide your congregation an opportunity to grow in their service for our Lord.

If your congregation has experience serving, and wants ongoing relational opportunities, we would love to help make this a reality. We have a large network of community partners that we work with that are open to having your church come in and minister on an ongoing basis.

As a Church leader myself, I realize the roles of outreach parachurch organizations are often times vague and ambiguous. I also realize you may have questions about our organization. Check out this website for more information about what it is we do here in Sacramento, or shoot me an email if you have any other questions!

Thank You,

Dan Meyerpeter,
Executive Director, Church Volunteer Network
